Abstract
The basic theme is the interpretation of those structural characteristics of contemporaiy social situations in postsocialist systems which do not exist and the explanation of unexisting processes necessary for effective societal functioning. Societal results of the void are unclear while political results are. The ideally-typical conceptualization of passage from traditionalism to modernism by F. Toennies is shown to be quite adequate in the case of Slovenia.
