Title
For the restoration of regional planning
Abstract
In the legislation of 1974-1989, regional planning lost its traditional role - it ceased to be the bridge between socioeconomic and country, town planning, becoming un- necessary in enviromental management. The author states that in the approaching period of a open market economy, regional planning as a method of stabilizing development, managing of land and planning land use will be essential. The necessity of restoring regional planning is described through the landscape characteristics of Slovenia and phenomena following the occuring open market economy.
