Title

Slovenia – information society? Which development scenario is most appropriate?

Abstract

In the previous articles we presented three possible development scenarios – spontaneous. Ideal and active, which show various possible routes of Slovenia developing into information society. We judged the spontaneous scenario as unsuitable, but unfortunately it is partly being followed. The active scenario is suitable and achievable by the year 2008. The most adequate is the ideal scenario, which can be achieved by year 2015. This article brings certain spatially relevant development directions and implementation of tele-communication infrastructure and services, which stem from the active development scenario.
